mine was supposed to be 'the poet' in Irish, but I accidentally included a 'h' that shouldn't be there so now it's grammatically incorrect :(
I've looked at your nick I don't know how many times and thought that, but given how poor my Irish grammar is I kept persuading myself that I was wrong!
Wow, you joined in the year 2511.
Get the crew from the M&TM forum to check this one out, I think ...

Deise is obviously taken from where I live. Any Waterford GAAheads in particular would understand the 59. For the rest of you, 1959 was the last time Waterford won the All Ireland.

Talullah is phoneticallly similar to Tallaght.

Was your mate from tallaght and used to laugh at your D4 accent?
E.G Mate: "Oh Look it's Talullah" pats him heavily on the shoulder.
    You: "ha ha Cool nickname."
Mate behind his back : "Poshie."

Is it pronounced Ta lull ah.

My name is after a popular tyre brand.

Mine has been a nickname for a long time. I used to keep spiders, snakes, lizards, and scorpions, as well as run a reptile rescue service and spider & snake club. On Corronation Street there was a guy called Spider, so someone gave me the smae name. It has just stuck.

Now I use it as my DJ name and keep an air of mystery to my real identity! In fact some people still call me Spider and don't know my real name. In fact if I told you my real name I would have to kill you, sorry! :pac:

BTW there is another thread I started in BGRH here http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055254521 Oops!

  • Registered Users Posts: 649 ✭✭✭sidneyreilly

Sidney Reilly was the guy that Ian Fleming was supposed to have based James Bond on. Was reading a book on him when I first logged into Boards.ie, as I'm always forgetting log-ins and I had just started the book I figured I would remember it for at least a while as it was a large book:)

Also a very good TV series in the 80's called Reilly Ace of Spies with Sam Neill.

I like the word "igloo". I put "square" so I could have the letter q.
If you google it under Images, you get "George & Mildred" for some reason.

Ha, funny you should mention that. I'll always used deise59 for any username i need, including my email, and Ive always maintained if we do win it I'll change all the usernames, and set up a new deise08 email.

Was nearly gonna set up a deise07 email address last year :(:(
