I have 2 children (boy 10, girl 9) and I am looking for places to take them within reach of Swords - ideally suitable for walking or bike riding.

We regularly go to Malahide Castle, Newbridge, Ardgillan which are great, but they are now looking for something a bit more adventurous.

    Any suggestions ?

Howth has lovely cliff walks and a pier. There is also a beautiful rhododendron garden, woods and a dolmen behind deer park golf course & Howth castle. Around the harbour there is a playground and Mauds ice-cream across the road :)
All easily accessable with the Dart.

A day trip to Irelands eye is always fun.
