I love the way he is ignoring my points and not engaging in debate with me.

We were at the point where you have accepted that you require our platform to make yourself heard, however you are unwilling to accept

    1. Our decisions about the best way to run that platform.

    2. Our right to make such decisions.

    Voteban?

    Does that work here?

Oh hang on... here doesn't really exist... oh no wait i fcked that one up... here DOES exist, but it is merely a tool on "The Man" to make us believe our work days aren't as bad as they are...

also i always thought if a shepards herd got too big he'd just get some help in to assist, as opposed to mass murder of the poor sheepy weepys

Personally I scratch my shopping list on the back of a used icelolly stick. I used to use matches to burn it on but apparently burning stuff is not right either according to all those ads on the radio.
I carve my list into the back of my left hand with an overgrown fingernail on my right.

    Check mate.

No it's not blind. What it is is lacking in critical analysis.
Otherwise no one would buy posters of Paris Hilton.

Only if you don't draw blood. Otherwise the tissues to staunch the flow of red stuff count.

Thus my final move of online storage in my brain trumps that for environmental lack of impact.

    I think you'll find ... we did.

Then you created this thread, and now I'm giving you some of my time to discuss the points you've raised but seem unwilling to actually enter into a debate with me about.

Are you interested in that or is that last comment the toys leaving the pram at this point?

No. You offered me conspiracy theories and the other guy is playing environmental oneupmanship with me. Neither qualify.

Not at all. I will argue all day long, mainly because I believe that on this occasion I was hard done by. If we take things back to the source I was banned from green issues, the only forum of real interest to me. The was not preceded by any warnings, pm's, nothing. In hindsight I can see where problems may have arisen from some of my posts.

However I am not going to tell you how to run your own site. Even I don't have the neck for that.

Globalisation is a race to the bottom. All economies should be independent and provide for the needs of the people within each area. Of course everyone is entitled to the same opportunities, but this problem would not exist if it were not for globalisation in the first place.

A massive difference exists between service and manufacturing economies. Where is the value added in the service economy, what are the products, where are the inputs/outputs. To create wealth you take something transform it and sell it for more than the sum of the parts. A simplified but true statement none the less.
Did you get hit in the head at one of those may day riot party things?

Identity theft is one of the biggest threats in the digital age. If I have your name and date of birth things can spiral from there. Read "the art of deception" by kevin mitnick.
But you don't have to give out these things on myspace or your blog.

You need even basic information for that. And anyway it need not go as extreme as identity theft. Lack of personal privacy is a major issue nowadays, even look at credit cards, store cards, and most problematic of all RFID which will be shortly introduced on a grand scale.

Casey, the only way you could possibly be unbanned would be if you spent the next 12 years being extra-super-specially-wonderfully nice to everyone and possibly tongue washed a few of the mods cars for them.

I have a few quid in my pocket. That's all I need to know about economics.

You don't need to use bebo.

It has already been pointed out that you can also use blogger.com or similar sites.

    The same goes for blogger.com.

If you don't know anything about economics why question my post?
