Is there any bottle banks in NCW? I have been told the nearest is in Dromcollogher, is that true?

i agree with your comment on the lack of recycling in newcastle west. it does seem ridicilious for such a big town that there is no facilities for those who want to recycle.

there is a recycling centre on the road where the desmond college is, they charge so much for car load/van etc.

Ewan, I know the place you are on about. But most towns have somewhere you can recycle glass for free. It's a bit of a surprise that the largest town in the county does not have the most basic recycling facilities.
