    Hi all,

    I'm looking to buy a camcorder (for general use and also to make artistic movies)
    I was in Dublin today to buy one but came home empty handed. The problem is that there's so much choice and I really don't know what I should buy.

    So basically I'm lookng for advice and opinions on what camera to buy. My budget is 400eur max and I'd prefer one that writes to dvd or miniDV rather than memory card or hard disc.

    Any advice is appreciated, thanks.
