I have a newish WRX which i will be clearing at the end of Feb as i have lived in the UK for the last 10 years..What is the likely market value of this car over here at the moment, i am Irish!! I have not gone to a dealership yet as the temptation to offload it may be too much...

If your re reging it and are exempt from vrt you wont be able to sell it for (12 months? cant remember) a while.

OT but only just looked at the link I gave properly. Do people actually not want to sell their cars? We're talking about €40k + cars here. Out of the 3 WRX's, 2 have no pics and the other has pics taken in darkness. :rolleyes:

Depends on the ICE, but I recon somewhere in the region of €35-€40k trade in. Beware though that Revenue will hunt you down for the VRT liability if you sell it within 12 months of registering it. (You are otherwise exempt having lived in the UK for 10 years) see here
