Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Not a bit impressed!!!!!!
Phone slipped out of my pocket onto carpet-- the screen smashed to smithereens!! Its all lines and a big massive crack going from the bottom to the top!! Luckily, when Himself bought it for me at Christmas he took out the insurance with the CPW. Does anyone know if this will 1) cover accidental damage? 2) Let me get a different make of phone? I had a various Nokia makes over the past 8 or so years with no issues at all, no matter how many times i dropped them!
Know phones arent designed to be dropped on their head but yet, i was a bit suprised it smashed so easily!

    Thanks guys :D:D:D

it does cover accidental damage but if you still have the phone they have to send it off so they can attempt to repair it. Even if its completely destroyed, an engineer still has to verify that it can't be fixed.

what would be faster but i bit more complicated would be to say you lost it. you'd have to fill out a form they give you and bring it down to the garda station to get stamped.

You'd also have to get a new sim because you've 'lost' your old one so be sure to copy your contacts to a different sim first

and if you tell them you lost it, say it was less than two days ago and before you go in, call your network to say you lost it, again less than two days ago.

and you'll have to pay the excess fee which is 35 i think

and sometimes claims are referred by the system which means its not automatically accepted and is sent off to be manually checked which takes up to 72 hours. It randomly selects claims to refer
