Dog - Travelling by Ferry

We are planning a holiday in France and hope to bring our dog with us. Does anyone have experience of doing this on the Rosslare to Cherbourg route ? We have the pet passport. Thanks for any comments.

you do not need a car to bring a dog on the ferry,but you would need to book a kennel with the ferry company[at no cost] as there is only a limited amount of kennels on the ship
