    Hi all

Has anyone ever been to the Geneva motor show? I have quite a few days holidays to take and was thinking about this for a day in March. My main concern would be that it would be quite small and you would have it all seen in an hour or less, and I'm not sure there is too much else in Geneva

    Cheers

Study the transport system. It is fabulous and will get you to that show in minutes. The exhibition hall is in walking distance of the Airport. In fact it's directly across the road!

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

Geneva is only an hours drive from Chamonix, a lovely winter sports resort at the bottom of the Mont Blanc. Go up to the Aiguille du Midi by cable car (one of the highest in the world - 3842m) and enjoy the view :D

...and find out why those dudes that climb up mountains need oxygen :)

I'm nearly certain that you can get a bus there from the Airport.

When is it on? How much? Any website you used to buy tickets?

Excellent show, was there in 2005. U can buy tickets there on the day. All public transport will get you there. Just bear in mind, its very very very very expensive. Pints can be up to 8.50euro and ham salad rolls similar price.

Forgetting all that, you can stroll around for days in all the new cars, even get into Lambos, limited edition range rovers, mercs etc. Great show. Bring a camera for sure!
