Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ive just realised that Ronaldo has played for both rivals Barca & Madrid and for Inter & A.C

Any other players who have done something similar

(I know Barca & Madrid aren't technically local derbies but it's still the best game of football in the world usually and it'll always be a derby for me)

The Barca Real derby as I think someone said on here is probably one of the most important rivalrys. Like Espanyol and Barca don't really have hatred for each other as they are both Catalan.

    Not Barca.

    Crespo - Inter, AC, Lazio.

    Not Roma.

    What's the difference?

The Madrid derby is more important because of the history of catalans repression during the spanish civil war. But there definitely is a big rivalry between Espanyol and Barca, its just not televised over here regularly.

Edgar Davids (nearly) - Ajax, Barca, Inter, Milan, Juve, Spurs.

He's played in the Milan derby for both teams and the 'Derby of Italy' for both teams. I wonder has anyone else done this?

Edit: ah Vieri, of course! I presume he played for both clubs in those derbies too?

I think we can conclude, that nobody has played for two rivals in two different countries.

If only Vieri had joined Real.

    Wrong.

Avery John played for Shels/Bohs and Boston/New England.

    Sorry for the error.

Avery John played in the World Cup, guess that isn't that important a competition though.

Except for the OP's original example of Ronaldo, of course;)

You've missed quite a few there. Lets not forget Atalanta, Prato, Pisa, Ravenna & Venisia.
