Moving to US - need to share container - any hints/advice?

We are relocating to the US in the spring. We intend to bring a few essentials and would not need to book a full container. Is there a company that anyone knows of that I can contact that would be able to assist us (costs?) Also, we would also be looking to sell the contents of our house. Really nice stuff - just can't be…
