Can someone tell me why we associate Cheese and Onion with Green and Salt and Vinegar with Blue?.. I was just looking at a Walkers display and noticed how they seem to have it the wrong way round. But why, esp when you consider that King and Tayto are RED for Chessr and Onion...

Speaking of Blue, Mr Tayto is feeling lonely <Here>
hi there , just read your query, very intresting sumtin i never really though about but , but when i think cheese & onion i do think red and salt n vinegar i think green or blue

Hmm, no I think of Cheese and Onion + green. Salt and Vinegar, always blue.

Cheese and onion is green although in the case of king and tayto red is acceptable, salt and vingegar is blue damn those walkers people for trying to mess with it. bought a blue bag one day thinking it was S&V and it was full of manky C&O ones grrrr

Does anyone get that flood of saliva in their mouth when they think about salt and vinegar crisps??

    ESP Chipsticks.

RED is the colour of Cheese and Onion btw.

Walkers are muck, they taste like some weirdo pre-sucked the flavour out of them, dried them on the rad and shoved them back in the pack.

Pringles - don't even get me started.

Chipstix and Snax are both in Red packets though.

    See Mantel's post:

"Chipsticks would fit in to the specialist crisp catergory as they're not crisp shape and are a hybrid potato/corn based snack... Basicly they can do what they damn well like because they're awesome."

This is a thread about CRISPS... Get your nomenclature straight! :P

I love anything salt and vinegar except Pringles and Walkers. Walkers S&V are rank.

Well, we all agree that salted Popcorn simply comes in Red? right??

Here's the new Tayto ad, throwing Yellow into the mix now too
