Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Xbox Live Gold versus Silver

    So my free month's gold membership ran out, and I won't be renewing it as I can't really play multiplayer online with the 3G modem due to ping issues.

    However Last night I tried connecting and I couldn't even open the marketplace. All I could do was install the update for Stranglehold.

    So do I have to have a Gold membership to access the marketplace?
    I didn't think you had to before..

    No I have silver and I can access marketplace. Could it be a connection issue?

    I thought it might have been a connection issue but the update for Stranglehold downloaded fine.
    I'll try again when I get home later.

    Silver membership doesn't let you play online and some demo's come a week later for silver members. Everything else is the same.
