    WITNESS TO DUB PUB SAMURAI COMES FORWARD

    A witness has come forward to assist Dublin Gardai in their search for the Samurai Slasher from The Deputy pub.

    In an effort to protect the witness from reprisals, a Garda spokesman refused to confirm the story, but did admit that someone who had been in the pub had given them a hand.

    The spokesman added that additional specialised Garda resources were being drafted in from Swords.
