Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dublin Bus compensation for injury, see a lawyer?

My mate had a minor injury getting onto a bus. It was an automatic door, dunno if the driver or machine was at fault. They complained to dublin bus and had to see a doctor etc. They got a call and a dublin bus guy said it was all on CCTV and confirmed there would be compensation, but no figure given.

Is there any Irish site showing how much they should expect to get for such injuries, different gradings etc, e.g. fracture, break, bruising, days off work, doctors etc.

Whatever they offer would it be worthwhile seeing a lawyer for a second opinion? This person is in no way a scam artist trying to get fake compo or anything, just checking to see they get a fair amount if it is due.
