Getting from Dromod to Cloone

    Hi,

I'm organising a party in my dad's house near Cloone. There'll be about eight of us from the big schmoke. We're getting the train to Dromod and will arrive mid-afternoon on a Wednesday.

How should we get to Cloone? Is there a taxi/minibus company in Dromod/Mohill/(Carrick?) that'd pick us up? Any other suggestions or phone numbers?

    Thanks a lot,

There's a good few taxi companies around Carrick and some of them have mini-buses. There's a guy in Jamestown (beside Dromod) called Ken McManus who runs buses. His number is 087-2526377. There's another guy called Carl Bonnici (086-0772020) also based in Jamestown but I don't know if he has a mini-bus.

I think this might help - http://www.leitrim.ie/business/busname.asp?id=1&cat=Transport. Gallogly Coaches would probably be your best bet.

By far your best bet is a local taxi in Cloone. I'd suggest Andy McGovern on 087-2208227. He will be able to take you all on one run also so saves a bit extra!
