    The above site will give you a complete description, history & finance check for €35 on inputting the vehicle registration number of any motor you may wish. Sounds like a good idea and really offers peace of mind.

    One question though, is it possible to get this info for free? Is there a bureau say, who could tell you freely over the phone if any hire purchase agreements were outstanding on a vehicle in question?

    Knowledge/opinions please.

    Your bank should do this for you if you ask.
