Hi Lads / Ladies. Just looking to enquire about the Halifax Current Account and how the interest is paid and calculated. If i lodge the full amount, do i gain interest on it straight away or do i have to keep the balance in the account for a specified time. Is it a case of once i lodge the money i can remove it the next…

Hi Lads / Ladies.

Just looking to enquire about the Halifax Current Account and how the interest is paid and calculated.

If i lodge the full amount, do i gain interest on it straight away or do i have to keep the balance in the account for a specified time.

Is it a case of once i lodge the money i can remove it the next day, if so will i recieve interest on that amount.

Im kinda confused about all this, any help would be appreciated.

Also any experiences of those who have opened one and any horror stories would also be welcome, just looking to get an over all picture of Halifax's setup.
