Liverpool at villa will be your tough one, i'd say that game would be tight but a high scoring game, 3-2 is my CS guess!

Newcastle; I love betting on teams that have just got a new manager, it's almost free money! -another high scorer!

West Brom should have it easy - great defence & offence. Scored more than 2.5 goals in all 5 of their last 5.

First two are sane, the third is not! :(

Fupp me, my 30,000 post and its on gambling. What a waste. :p

    If I was crazy i'd stick a 100quid on this;

    Blackburn v Middlesbrough
    Blackburn @ 1.66

    Fulham v Arsenal
    Arsenal @ 1.50

    Portsmouth v Derby
    Portsmouth @ 1.40

    Reading v Man Utd
    Man Utd @ 1.40

    Tottenham v Sunderland
    Tottenham @ 1.44

    Newcastle v Bolton
    Newcastle @ 1.83

    Man City v West Ham
    Man City @ 1.90

    @ ~ 25/1

Yeah thats why I piled on Newcastle last night, the odds are pretty good considering Bolton sold their best play and Newcastle will be buzzing with KK back.

Pompey do not score at home and are missing 4 to ANC while Derby have started to score goals. Tricky (could be one for a small flutter on the away team).

I sat there last night listening to Newcastle on fivelive with betfair open I thought at every goal should I put some on over 2.5/3.5/4.5 and did'nt actually do it once :( I'm a coward.

I know its not the weekend but had a good look around at whats on tonight and there is a bet in the greek cup that could win some money Iraklis v Panionios
Iraklis are 11th in the league with the worst form in the league over the past 6 games (0-1-5) in that time they have scored 2 goals.
Panionios are not exactly on fire but (2-1-3) makes better reading and 2 of those defeats were against top 3 opposition.
They have also scored 5 in their last 6.
Panionios are 7-4 against a team that has lost their last 3 games at home.
You can also get panionios @ 2-5 for a draw+win, probably back this tbh as i cant see value anywhere else

Imagine if you put €1 away for every post you made for the purpose of having €30,000 on an even money shot when you got to 30,000 posts :D

Agree with this, Portsmouth have been on the slide for a while now and were really poor without the african players at Sunderland. Derby +2 at the very least for me.

    A double for me tonight
    ======
    Inter -1 @ 4/7
    Napoli @ 10/11

    They'll both go over too.

An average of 12.63 posts per day - sure @ €1 per day it would only have cost you €4,610 per annum :p

I have eight bets lined up. Was only at the end that i realised they were all away bets. Hopefully it's not because my pricing has gone off on me!

Everton to beat Wigan 11/8 with Boyles. (Others are 11/10)

Everton are shaping up to hold the title of best of the rest this season. I just about go with 11/8 being a bit big.

Wolves to beat Scunthorpe 8/5 with Boyles and Power.

Wolves have been costing me this season but i have Scunthorpe as being the worst team in the Championship so Wolves get one more chance.

Walsall to beat Bristol Rovers 13/8 with Power.

Walsall are undefeated in the league for a long time. Their away record is excellent. Their dumping from the FA Cup can help them focus on the league. I think it's time for Bristol Rovers to return to their true form (ie. many more points from Walsall). Might take a late winning goal in this one.

Nottingham Forest to beat Swindon 11/8 with Power.

A bit obvious i know. But Forest are capable of destroying teams on a good day and i see an improvement in them of late. This makes me JUST pick them. Not my strongest bet.

Peterborough to beat Barnet 11/8 with Ladbrokes.

I think there is a huge gulf in class between teams in League Two in England. Barnet are not as bad as some but Peterborough should be well able to beat them if they perform.

Lincoln to beat Macclesfield 11/5 with Ladbrokes.

It's been profitable for me to go against Macclesfield this season and i've done it a lot. Lincoln are not the lame ducks they were at the start of the season. They should only be 2/1 max.

Darlington to beat Mansfield 5/4 with VC but might have to settle with 23/20 William Hill.

I talked about the gulf earlier and Mansfield are very poor. Darlington are a top 6 team in this league and ought to win here. I like this bet a lot.

MK Dons to beat Wrexham 4/6 with Ladbrokes.

That gulf again? I think one exists between the top and bottom of the league more than bookies seem to be giving credit for. There's a second gulf between the top teams and the MK Dons. Wrexham are possibly the worst team in this league. I would take all the way down to 1/2 on the Dons to win this so 4/6 seems like heaven.

Good luck with whatever you are all doing!

It's tempting alright but they have ****ed up too much this season. New manager or no new manager I'm leaving my cash in the bank on that one for the weekend. Good luck fella :)

The best price I've found on Newcastle (with high street bookies) is 10/11 with Hacketts

after swansea getting a humilating beating the other night 4/11 and a high stake . i think thats easy money .

my 50e treble is newcastle 5/6
    everton 6/5
    arsenal 1/2

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,772 ✭✭✭jameshayes

thats a good bet, although, after everyone (inc me) saying that newcastle will win, karma will do a Homer on us and lose!

    ![/QUOTE]

This is my main bet for the weekend. Darlington should have the fire power to deal with Mansfield altough Mansfield did secure their first away win of the season last week against Chester.

For a trebble I have gone for

    Leeds @ 8/11
    Falkirk @ 10/11
    Darlington @ 23/20

    all with Hills.

Leeds is a banker, I'd be tempted to go Leeds/Leeds @ 3.25 on BF
