    Arsenal are winning 2-0 at the moment, the odds are 1.03 at the moment, how comfortable do you feel about say putting 1000 euro on it?

    True enough. But I'm sure plenty of us here as seen red hot favourites lose when they were at prices like 1.05. You're exposing yourself to a huge amount of risk depending on the size funds you have availible to bet with.

    I always find that the value is in backing the underdog rather than the better team.

    I know, I have lost dead sitters too, I'm well used to it...

    But most of the time when I gamble I end up making money and then making a stupid bet and setting myself back 2 or 3 steps!

    I'm thinking of starting with 10quid and doing 15 bets @ 1.05 and see if I can double it... without losing once
