Thumbs up/down

I started a thread on this a few months ago in either help desk or feedback but since then it's either been deleted (as i requested) or i'm too thick to find it.

Anyway, I dunno if it's the skin/style that i have selected, but most of the times i see the thumbs up or thumbs down icon for a post it doesn't come out right, and the opposite one is used.

The last thread i requested to be deleted because i used the thumbs up icon myself with the post, and it came out perfectly, but since then i've noticed it a lot more. I'll try to assign this thread the thumbs down icon and see what happens.

In the meantime, I've attached a couple of screenshots of what i'm talking about, with the fora in which they're located printed underneath.

God it's not a laughing matter but I did laugh!! Imagine having that skin applied, browsing around the various fora and suddenly seeing a thumbs up beside that thread title!! :eek:

It's kinda funny if you know that it's a glitch ... I could imagine people who didn't realise what was happening getting fairly pissed off about something like that though ...

Edit: just checked it there and Evil it is.

There's your answer. Apparently in the evil skin, rape is viewed as good!

I don't think there is anything wrong with the actual skin. By the looks of it, the images are just named incorrectly. From what I can tell icon13.gif should be the thumbs down image and icon14.gif should be the thumbs up image. It appears that this isn't the case with the images for those skins.

If you switch the names of the images around the that should solve the problem. So change icon13.gif to icon14.gif and vice versa.

I gave this thread the Thumbs down icon when i posted it originally and that's the icon it has when viewed in this skin. It's why i asked that the first thread i started on this be deleted........I thought i was imagining it or that people were just accidentally picking the incorrect one.

So you see the correct thumb when viewing the thread and choosing the thumb for the thread but you see the incorrect thumb when viewing the forum?

I've been using the minimalist skin for years with no problems.
Be very, very careful what you change Tom!
As it stands, the colour matches exactly to my accounts package at work and can be easily hidden.

It's the same problem with the black skin also.

I always thought it was a fun quirk but issues do arise....

You actually gave this thread a thumbs up. What you seen when posting the thread was a thumbs down but that is only because the image names are incorrect. Every time a thumbs down is meant to be displayed a thumbs up is displayed instead even when posting a new thread. I've actually tried this. If you look at the attached image you'll see that the thumbs up and thumbs down are swapped when switching from the cloud skin to minimalist skin.

I'm positive that all that needs to be done is for the image names for the affected skins to be swapped. Rename icon13.gif in the minimalist skin image folder, icon14.gif and vice versa.
