Pug 206 Vs Beer Belly

GF's pug '01 206 failed NCT on emmissions due to (I think) a leaky exhaust. Beer belly is greater than ground clearance so can't see where the leak is. Thinking of going to Fast fit or somewhere but don't want to get ripped off so any advice appreciated. What could I expect to pay for front section / back box / cat etc…

Do 206's have a history of exhaust problems or could it be deeper - e.g. lambda sensor?

An exhaust cenre will look for free and tell you if you need to get the car checked with diagnostic equipment. If they tell you need a cat- get a price from them and then price around the other places.

Take it from there.
