Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Desktop Reccomendations

    Hey Everyone,

I have a bit of a request for ye. I have a fully loaded dell laptop (Inspiron 5160) at the min from the ould college days and it’s getting a bit clapped out. I was wondering if anyone could point me to a really good desktop. I don’t really want to spend much over €750.

I have been pouring over the Dell, Harvey Norman, & Currys promotions since before Christmas and although I’ve spotted a few things I’d like, I’m just afraid the next really big thing would drop in and I’d be left with a really stupid lookin’ paper weight!

The last PC I was looking at was the Dell Inspiron 530 €799 in Dell’s January Supplement, but I’m just not sure about it.

    Ideally I’d like:
    Quad Core
    3Gb Ram
    128/256 Mb Graphics
    XP/Vista

HDD doesn’t really matter as I have a good network already setup with a tasty NAS on it, Screen size doesn’t matter because I’d like to buy a good gaming screen, but I would like a less expensive system so I wouldn’t completely blow the budget!

    Any suggestions would be great.
    Dirk!
