New Packaging on Sharwoods Sweet Chilli and lemongrass sauce - no veggie symbol??

    Hey All,

    I'm really disappointed because sharwoods have changed the packaging on this sauce and the veggie approved logo is no longer on it. However, I can't see anything different listed as an ingredient. Does anyone know if its ok for veggies?

    I LOVED this sauce! :(

    I would suggest emailing them. Ask them, and try and get it back on. ;)

    This happens to lots of products. Some products for a company are marked vegetarian while others aren't, despite having nothing on the ingredients list that is non-veggie. Strange.

    still, you should write to them and tell them you appreciated that veggie symbol. or at least that they should say whether is was suitable. you never know; it could have been the vegetarian society who have taken their vegetarian status from the sauce. i don't see why they should....

    I actually named the wrong one there, it was the sweet chilli sauce, not the one with lemongrass(that one is rank). I checked the website and its not on it. I googled all the ingredients and it seems to be ok though..
