according to notices on the SU door. it starts the 25th of feb...
    mmm....

Yup, it's running the last week of Feb this year, so i think that's the 25th to the 29th. It's kinda bad form that it's only a few weeks away and they haven't started letting people know what the story is. A lot of people I know take time off work for it and have to get that off in advance.

so..... what exactly is involved in rag week? I know bands, and lots of drinking... that it basically? Like what kind of events are on? And is it kind of a given that attendance at lectures will be down...? Would evil lecturers every throw a test or assaingment due date in the middle of the week?

There might be assignments, I had 3 essays due in on Rag week last year. But generally, most lecturers don't expect high attendances (in Arts anyway)

There's loads of events on, it is Raising & Giving week so there's Charity events throughout the year. Shaving legs, heads etc.

I thought it was Raise A Grand week?

I've always heard Raising and Giving. Either way the true spirit of it is to get mightily pissed and go on the mystery tour.

No labs or tutorials for pisslips.
In fact, at the end of this year(hopefully), pisslips will have completed a degree having done 3 assignments out of about 50 and 4 quizzes out of about 54.It will be a great victory on the day and of course, he shall convince himself that he's beaten the system, just a little bit until he realises that he hasn't, not even a little bit and nobody cares.

considering DCU and NUIM usually have similar line-ups, and it's the Ents manager for both is (or was anyway..) the same guy:
