Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Disposal of Car for Parts

My mum has a '92 Honda Civic that is in pretty poor condition. Even though it passed it's NCT this year, it started to use up oil by the gallon and is now not fit to drive. We heard that there is a web site where you can advertise such cars. Someone might want it for parts. Any advice?

What we don't want is for someone to take it off our hands, patch it up and sell it on cos it has the NCT. It's not fit to drive.

Make sure to send your log book off stating you disposed of the car - just stops you getting any nasty surprises like fines and prevents it being put back on the road.
