Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Vista config questions

    Hi folks,

    Hoping you might be able to help me. Two irritating issues with Vista that I'd love to sort out:

    1) Desktop shortcuts, I tend to arrange these according to use, on different parts of the desktop, unfortunately Vista lumps them all on the left side every time it starts, or if I use a shortcut it gets moved. Is there a simple solution to this? Its really infuriating.

    2) When I use Save As, and begin to type the file name, I get a drop down list with all the previously used filenames, not exactly a serious issue but it bugs the hell out of me :mad:

    For the desktop icons, you need to disable the setting to keep icons arranged. Right click on the desktop and poke around the menu.

    Not sure about the 'save as' problem. Nifty feature! :)
