Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

N95 8GB firmware update question

I installed nokia pc suite on my pc, and backed up the phone before updating the firmware, as advised. I had firmware v10.something and it updated to the latest v15.0.015 firmware. When I turned on my phone after the update all contacts etc were wiped so I restored it to the backup I made before the update.

By restoring the phone to what it was before the update have I messed with the firmware update, or is this what I am supposed to do? My phone says it has device software v15.0.015 but I notice nothing new from the previous v10 firmware.

I don't think you can downgrade the firmware by restoring it so your ok.
Sometimes the updates are background stuff only, maybe do a google on what should be new on it and compare it to yours.
