Trying to convince myself to part with my money and put this setup together on Dabs. Any opinion on recommended changes?

    Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz OEM
    OCZ Technology 2X2GBKIT REAPER 240PIN PC2-6400 DDR2 800MHZ
Microsoft Vista Home Prem 64-bit 1pk OEM
    LG Electronics 18x DVD+/-RW SATA black x 2
Gigabyte BLACK TRITON 180 MIDI TOWER CASE NO PSU
    Samsung 500GB S300 16MB 7200RPM x 2
Asustek S775 GeForce 680i ATX GLAN
Iiyama 22" Wide E2201W 2ms DVI TFT (was going to go with a Samsung for around €350 but this is getting good reviews on Komplett)

still undecided on whether to get the MS entertainment desktop 7000

I am keeping my current 600w psu and my 8600GTS for the moment.

yea that all looks fine! I would stick with samsung though.. better quailty screen. I think I know the 22" you have there it doesnt look the best but then again its all down to personal taste

Have you used dabs.ie before this? If not you might want to consider you COULD get into a big mess with there secuity having to send proof of address etc etc and they take days to email back! Ive had this problem twice once with paypal  Saying that other people have used them no problems at all! Just wanted to let you know!

Havent ordered before. Last tim eout I got my stuff from komplett but it's working out €100 or so cheaper with dabs. I really dont like delays. I cancelled a dvd recorder when Pixmania started that rubbish and just went to a shop to buy it.

In the last few mins I was thinking of sticking it in a HTPC case and putting it under the tv, with it connected to that and the monitor (both in the same room) cos its nice to play CS & DOD on a 50" the odd time:)

This is a case I came across

    and this

Just reading a couple of reviews now to get an idea of what its like.

enlarge pic shows it with stand.
It's dark surround but the bottom and stand are silver, so either colour case should look ok. :)

Im happy enough with the setup, I'm thinking of maybe stretching th ebudget to getting 2 cases, the Gigabyte and the thermatake one. Maybe use the components from my old dell in the HTPC (p4 3.0 , 2 gb ram, onboard graphics cos I'm taking the 8600gts out ) and maybe when the new range of graphics cards come out getting a decent one and putting the 8600 back into the htpc. Choices choices.:)
