Yeah they only ever made a handful of them. Its from the Japanese Anime Ghost in the Shell Series

@Socom, very nice indeed John, I watched the videos on your channel, sounds like an animal. Only seen one, never fired it :(.

Hows the accuracy on single out of interest?

Thermo that's an interesting looking magazine, is it 5.56 style?

Its a magpul beta project midcap. They look well and are solid.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,636 ✭✭✭Hande hoche!

Thanks for the info. I've been tempted to pick up some of the more modern mags like the US Palm style or magpul in the past. Don't know how well they fit in AK pouches though.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,438 ✭✭✭✭thermo

I have carried the beta ones mentioned in the osprey sa80 mag pouches no bothers, they are narrower than you think. They are a good bit longer than an airsoft m4 mag but then again so is a real m4 mag so real steel m4 mag pouches should be ok.
The beta's defin-itly fit sk mag pouches too so lots of options.

I've always been sorry I missed out on getting one of them. The Mateba, a COP357 and Marushin Unlimited Maxi are three low ammo ones I've wanted for a while.

Actually you might be able to tell me, does the mateba actually have the Autorevolver function or is it just a standard revolver ?

Southern Dandy that USP looks lovely. Will you post a review of the Volante hop and how you bought it when it comes? I'd love to use my USP Tactical more but the hop is horrible in my one at least.

    Thanks,
    Paul

Cheers man, hadn't checked the site in a while. I assumed he was still on military service so they weren't on sale.

Are you using the tactical sights or standard USP? Really need to find a proper holster for it too but the raised front sight narrows down the range of suitable ones to very few, add in been left handed and the prices are crazy :/

Standard USP sights. Am a lefty aswell, managed to source a Blackhawk CQC, Left handed. Got it in Black but Kryloned in TAN, as you can see in my photo I like TAN :).

Was a bit tight bit, took a hair dryer to it and it was spot on. I originally used used a IMI defense but only available in right handed, shame really, great pieces of kit.

Am bloody sickened, When in contact wih volante airsoft previously I was issued a paypal request for hop up unit.

Then I get this in my mailbox :(

    "Hi, it's Kim.

I'm sorry but all 'New hop kit for KSC/KWA pistols' are discontinued.

There will be new hop kit for USP match and MK23 next year but not for other pistols.

I'm sorry for not fulfilling your request.

    Regard

    Kim."

**** me like, money back in the account though, when I didn't hear from them just assumed it was processing.

That's a pity, they were supposed to be a good upgrade over the old version. I wonder is there a difference with the barrel between the two hop up units. Might be possible to get the usp match unit when its available and switch the barrel? Or possibly order the the hop up unit in bit from kwa themselves.

Ive my eye on a Fobus holster for a USP for like 17eur shipped from Isreal, just need to figure if it will accomodate the raised front sight on the tactical.

    Hey DP,
Thanks - comment much appreciated ;-)
All Airsofters deserve a couple of extra-special items :-)

I'm not too sure if I'll post much more though ,
In case everyone starts getting sick of looking at 1911s :-)

I'd be interested in seeing photos of metal-kits that haven't been available in a long time (2002-2006), I'm sure there are a few interesting kits floating around Ireland that are quite rare now.

    Cheers.

Good work deserves some bit of recognition.
Too true, every now and then we have to spoil ourselves with a gucci bit of kit.
Not at all mate, post away, the more unusual the variation of the 1911 the better .
I have plan's for 2 myself once funds replenish.

I agree, they were some nice kit's even from a few year's back that you only get a chance to glimmer at that are not available no more but Hopefully like you say, they might get posted up.

Cheer's for sharing mate. Looking forward to seeing more of them :)

    I agree with DP.....

We want more. Very nice work man. There is no better feeling in airsoft (IMO) when you can stand back and admire your projects from where they began to the end result.

    Thanks guys,
I'll try and post some more 1911's later on if time permits.
A bit of old and a bit of new.
Prime WA MEU (old style) PGC TM MEU (new style) and Prime WA SVI Tiki ;-)

    Hey Brenak47,

The Western Arms Kimber CDP Ultra Prime kit I missed out on first time around about 6 years ago, so when it was reissued 2 years ago as a Limited Release by Prime I jumped on the chance, was just sorry I hadn't got enough cash to get the Kimber Raptor Ultra that was released with it :(
Since then WA are only selling mail-order only within Japan, and no metal-kits have been made for any if their guns by Prime/Nova.
So for the near future it's going to be impossible to get anything in Ultra size for TM, as Prime/Nova decided it was too expensive to make the kits for TM and having to supply a magazine as well, unless they change their minds of course.
Detonator have made some Officer-Size kits and included their own made magazines, but they were all hugely expensive.
Nova parts for TM are not available in Silver, bar a couple of triggers - only Stainless Steel Chrome-type finish, so for the full size Kimber CDP I got the control parts Cerakoted to Satin Silver to match the RS.
    Cheers.

    Hey Horse,

That originated in Taiwan, it was a Limited Edition release, I don't think there were many made, as they were expecting to do a bigger HK3P release of it.
But when the later HK3P release arrived its trademarks were not as deep as the previous Taiwan Limited Edition.
The HK3P version was available from Airsoft Global and TMC.

Either way you should be able to get the full-size VFC version in the coming months, it will probably be announced at the Shot Show soon.

    Cheers.
