Nice job on the KSK rail Puding, what rail did you mod it from. Really looks the part.

i used the star rail http://www.starairsoft.com/product_detail.php?productid=180 , add in a little work with the dremel and a razor saw and its not that bad, not perfect but far far cheaper than the 300 - 400euro real steel option

Vtec how do you rate your Well AWM APS 2 Sniper Rifle?? any good? what's the fps like? accuracy? i was thinking of getting one.

Renius: its a good rifle, pretty comfy to shoot and uses normal L96 parts, as said above, its 315 on gas and 300 with the spring version, the bolts are interchangeable though so you can get both.
its a bit noisey compared to the JG BAR10 though, between the two i would pick a BAR10..,

Cheers man! i'll take that into consideration!

    Tip on the l96 sound.

Unlike the bar 10 barrel, the l96 one is hollow with no spacers or buffers, put something in there like a buffer or two and it doesn't resonate as much.

I filled my outer barrel with sound dampening and although it took a small bit of the "whack" ouf it it, the problem is the length of the barrel and the fact that its open on the top instead of having a silencer like the BAR10. my plan was to get a 100mm shorter and tighter barrel and pack out the tip of the outer barrel with the inards of a silencer, then it should be a fair but quieter.,:)

Please don't say you have to use a PEQ box on that.

Head Hunter, can you post link were did you get upgrate parts? for P90.
What kind gearbox did you install to handle LiPo (7 or 8 mm)? thanks

    Guarder full tune-up kit,
    MOSFET with Active Braking.
Fully Upgraded wiring + Deans connectors.
    Zippy 11.1v 20c LiPo Battery.

This is the tune up kit I used, I swapped the SP120 for an SP90 though.
I just used the 6mm metal bushings that came with the kit, I couldn't find any 7mm version 6 gearbox. I think the Echo 1 P90, that was released a couple of weeks ago, has 7mm bushings though. I have fired over 10,000 bbs through mine, with no issues. I bought the MOSFET from kdouglas, he sell them in Eirsoft for €30. You can make one yourself fairly easily, but if your in a hurry like I was, then get from from him.

Puding how do you find the 105? Is the stock sturdy enough?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,261 ✭✭✭Puding

solid as hell, there is a small amount of movement when its in place but from everything i've read so does the real thing, nothing than a bit of tape did not stop, but i would recommend it to anyone :)
