    bump

    got her off zahal lad.
shes for the RS so needs a bit of modding, about 1.5-2 mil sanded off it in places and a hole drilled in the backstrap unless its a TM Glock( or Army one i think) which have a hole for the laynard already.

dont know if the ebaybanned one is any use.
the fact its "Made in Isram" sort of put me off it for the sake of a few quid extra.
at least i know this one can withstand the kick off a pistol up to .45 ACP

What brand is that L96 and thats not a amt harddballer under the DE is it @ Bullets.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,261 ✭✭✭Puding

the l96 is the star AW338 ( you will more than likely find it being sold under the ares name know

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,612 ✭✭✭bullets

Yes Star AW338. With downgrade from Redwolf Airsoft so it fires under 1j
Im real chuffed that now that Ares name is emerging
that we can buy some quality pieces cheaper than when
they were branded as Star. (Have my eye on a few more Ares Products)

The AW338 is a real beauty of a piece and heavy but totally totally useless for any practical skirmish. Best saved
    for a collectors piece only.

The Pistol is a Western Arms SVD infinity Hybrid. It is the best quality pistol I own.
Its got an ABS slide although you would hardly know it as it feels cold to the touch.
Christmas day I was cleaning it, and dropped the slide and a bit broke off the back of it.
I'm currently saving to buy a metal slide replacement but they are hard to find in stock
as the slide has a special cutting on it to allow for a unique barrell.

If Any Irish Airsoft Dealer decides to stock WA products I will gladly buy them.
    Incredable quality.

Always a pleasure to see your gear bullets, must pick up a western arms pistol next...

Nice paintjob robster, always like a tacticool armalite with a nice camo paint job.

I think it ties the thing together, rather than looking like lego for soldiers with all the rail etc.

    Nice work.

www.sofmilitary.co.uk is where he got his gear,
Good site, shipping is a flat 15 GBP,
And you can get pretty much all the stuff(smallest details)

Although I've heard G36C rails plus some mechano bits do the trick too, tbh I ordered mine from Magpul, I wonder how long it takes them to ship.

I just bought the MOE handgaurd from ebaybanned and use the rails for the masada, the handgaurd itself is on my CQB-H. :)

Loving the WW2 gear guys! Especially CroppyBoys aged WW1 stuff... fookin sweet. :D

Snipersight / Killinator - all ye need to do now is dirty up that gear a bit at G-Tac and get it looking genuine. I could bring some of my originals up to show ye but.... jealousy could creep in :P
