A nice mad review as always matey:-)

As regards the mags, pmags for not fit right.
M-mags, e-mags and lonex mags fit perfectly.
My Madbul lancer mid caps had to be modified too fit.
All of the above fed perfectly on semi and full auto at 17 a second.

As regards iron sights I don't think they will work as they will be way too close together.

Yes I did the little Bol 11.1 15c lipo.
    Perfect fit:-)
Not too worried if if destroys the crappy standard motor.

ha dsg the s**t out of it :P like this lad

ha would be funny to have head wrecking to keep running do :P
being all serious do i might game mine and see how it gets on and see if i want more rps more than likely i will. Will be interesting to see your diagnoses of the internals and how you would go about making them better :) as im like a crow looking into an empty milk carton when it comes to what can be done mechanically too it :P

Expensive too game as they seem too fail very quickly.
My DSG has never lasted reliably.....yet.

but thats the point of em the like the biodegradable aeg of the airsoft world run like a trooper till you hit a certain mark and boom new gearbox ) but hear the thing its like a warthhog :) just for the noise alone :P

from what Rooky is telling me the standard motor is crap so maybe that. Im going to game this as much as possible and upgrade if i think its lacking in areas.
i wish it had maybe a v6 gearbox or something standard that way you could make it into a great cqb aeg and parts would be easy too get but its supposed to have the same internals as a v3 gearbox

Yeah I was taking a look at the specs there and it does have a little room for improvement but sure when ya game it let me know. Considering one of these later on down the road if I ever want a cqb aeg :)

Sure what sights dya reckon ya will stick on it

i think ill just leave it the way it is as it is very light and compact.Like most aegs with sights how often do you look down the sight.Your more than likely going to just follow the line of bbs and adjust your aim from there :).

pdr ran great yesterday, after a few thousands rounds hop bedded in lovely and i am surprised by the range out of it.It was shooting around 150 ft away with the the groupings very close up to the last 40 or 50 ft.it went through mid caps like there was no tomorrow and lonex mags work perfect.only thing i found is the lonex mags are hard to get out of the aeg.the mag button becomes very stiff but with a good push and a pull of the mag it comes out.Very compact was able to get kills in places where a normal size aeg would be just too awkward to shoot.I found i didnt have to expose my self as mch with this shooting around corners.I ran the pdr with a WAS chest, ms2 sling and had a dump pouch on a belt. these worked perfect for me as i was able to move fast and often flanked around the other teams position to open a new front of attack.
i didnt find myself in a situation where i felt i needed to use my tm px4 pistol.it worked really well. Onto the next days gaming :)

for biz96 don't know if u will even see this that is a sweet m4 man im in the process of trying to get my raider to look like that i like the long rail my only problem is the front sight doesn't come off the raider think i may pick up a new outer barrel to get the right look

    @Target

Nice Noveske indeed. May I ask what motor you are running in that set up?

Very nice, haven't used one of those yet.
    How do you find it?

probably the best motor I've ever used. It fell of my desk onto my ammo box and apart from it not even damaging it slightly it nearly lifted the ammo box with it :p
The pinion gear looks to be very good quality, haven't skirmished it yet but I will be putting it through it's paces over the next couple of weeks as I usually go semi/burst :) Spins up fast and seems to cycle the gears fast too, pretty good balance between torque and Speed eventhough they're marketed as hi torque motors AFAIK.

Thanks for the info. I look forward to hearing how it performs for you:-)

The hi torques with the neo dynamic motors are the best for a smooth high speed system.

Yeah was talking to Kev in Hobby and he recommended this one for best of both so went ahead and picked it up, now to get the mosfet working so it actually fires the way i want it to and I'll post back how it works :)

It's normally the selector plate spring causing the problem.
There should be one in with the MOSFET, longer than a standard one.
Sometimes you need to trim a little more of the selector plate as well.

Just be careful of the little selector switch at the back of the unit itself as they can pop of very easily if knocked.

    Hope you sort it:-)

yeah have the longer one, also modded the plate itself, think it may be something else though. have a mate helping me out atm.
will watch out for the switch on the mosfet,
thanks for the heads up :)

That AEG is gun porn T4RGET and good job :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,901 ✭✭✭T4RGET

thank you :) taken alot of money and time, surprisingly apart from the mosfet, it went together pretty nicely once I had all the parts. Still need to get the last touches into it like the fake receiver pins (which are little studs, adds to the headache but also realism so meh :)). Then may look into a black paint to touch up the parts which were scratched during assembly etc

Nope.. not yet anyways. The Gears that originally came out of the gearbox were putting out a stupid RoF already so it looks like the piston can handle it and I only had it on the max for a few seconds like I've limited it now using the Mosfet, wouldn't really trust the RoF that high for too long
