GTR eats Evos, and everything else (has fastest 0-60 of any production car at moment).

But unlike BMWs it's clearly not for the BPs (Beautiful People).

@junkyard, this thread isn't an opportunity to post pics of your BMW. Go start your own thread!

How fast is it from 0-100?

I bet it's not 2.5 seconds, as per the Bugatti Veyron, which is still in production btw, though there is something faster than that now, but it's name escapes me.

You do not like BMW cars fair enough but as a matter of facts bimmer's drivers are the one that are crushing more pus***
    Mouahahahahahaha

    Ok just messing here.
Seriously not a reason to call bimmer's drivers scrotes. I do not see the point.

    What do you drive yourself?

Dude, an Evo would eat your micra and spit it into the ditch without even shifting down a gear!

What makes you think I drive a micra twat? I drive a car far more expensive than the three mentioned.

My point was that two of the three cars mentioned are not things of beauty, they are based on ugly mid sized family saloons, albeit heavily sculpted. Can you honestly tell me that they would appear in anyones (with a bit of credibility) list of good looking cars.

A masserati is a good looking car for example!!!!

If Motors had to be split up, rather than giving a forum to each marque, how about having a forum for each nationality, i.e. German Cars, Italian Cars, French Cars etc.

Calls for a forum for each brand of auto, would quickly become an unwieldy mess.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,497 ✭✭✭quarryman

no it wouldn't. it would be as civilized as this thre... Ah, I see your point.

    f22, you're banned.

Judging by your response, you're probably not old enough to drive. Keep up the paper round and you can buy that dream Evo, albeit in dinky form.

According to JHMEG's own stats, 470 threads have BMW in their thread title. How many threads are there in Motors? No less than 20,940 as I write this. So, wait for it now, just 2.24% of threads contain BMW in the thread title!

As I said before it's called Motors for a reason.

If anything, I think Modified Cars and Motors should be merged.

@Orange69: I presume pus*** should really be pussies!

    I gathered my....?

    Assuming you mean info:

    1. Search->Advanced Search
    2. in Key Word(s) put in marque
    3. select Search Title only
    4. under Search in forum(s) put select Rec/Motors/Motors which is this actual forum where I'm posting now
    5. Click Search Now

For BMW answer right now is:
    Showing results 1 to 25 of 473

Don't think it would be an advantage to split the form. Thread and post count isn't that high is it? Better to be on a one for all motors form IMHO, I gain a lot from discussion of all the motors related issues here.

How do you get that to work, or am I missing something? Put in "bmw" (sans quotes) and you'll get the following message:

That's actually an old vBulletin problem and my very first post on boards.ie was giving out about 3 letters being too short in searches, considering the IT world is full of TLAs.. needless to say I got blasted for it.

Back on topic, I think you must be on an old version (being a mod?) as I can search for 3 letter words now for quite a while. You need to contact your network administrator!:D

Yes it is, but as a mod I've no idea what you see. It is possible you are brought through antiquated parts of boards that the rest of us don't see?

    www.bmwcarclubireland.com

there's a sub-forum for you, and you can tab in in FF to open on startup. Now there is no need for a seperate forum in here for BMW, because it would inevitably got flooded with posts about people bitching about bmws.
