VRT & Tax on commercial Vehicles

    Hi

    I'm thinking of buying a new toyota landcruiser commercial this yr. has anyone got any idea how the new VRT & Tax laws will affect this.

    Will commercial vehicle tax now be calculated based on CO2 emissions?

    I think its only changed for private motor vehicles.....

    No change in VRT or Tax for commercial vehicles.

    Sorry to hi-jack, but on a similar vein.

    Does anyone know the deal with converting what is normally a passanger vehicle to commercial? If it is done in england it can be imported as commercial, but can you have it done here and converted before paying VRT etc?

    Also, anyone know any companies that do these conversions?
