If it's next Friday then I do beleive that I'll head up for it. I'm in Dublin the night before for the Dropkick Murphy's and am sorely tempted to make the long trip to Galway. That is if someone is forthcoming with a place for me to rest my weary head on the night in question.

Considering the day that's in it next Friday, what about a boards trip to the cinema to see Cloverfield followed by drinks?

You don't have to drink. When I was off it for two years I still went to many of the beers. No one thinks any less of you and if they do, they have the decency to say it behind your back. :D

Friday is my only day off so I'd do something then.

Thursday I'd be no fun as I would have hands curled like a legoman and wouldn't be able to move my shoulders.

I'll be up in Dublin to see the Dropkicks as well so I might make the long trip back.

Gah, I was planning on spending the weekend in Dublin as an excuse to avoid having to row on saturday and sunday.

Curse you all and your temptations.

Looks like I won't be able to make Friday. I've had next weekend booked off for for the past three months, but was told today buy my boss that he's going to Poland for a week next Thursday and I have to work Friday. I'll be damned if I miss the Dropkick's for anyone.

Oh the reason I won't be drinking is because I won't stay out long! I'm working the next morning...

Pah! that's a feeble excuse. Yoof of today:rolleyes:

If there is no drinking involved, with the specific intentions of whoring on the native women of Galway afterwards snyper says no.

Drink free nights out are ghey.. or when you get married.. or find out you got chronic liver disease.. or all 3.

So, so far its either Thursday the 31st or Friday the 1st. Friday might be preferable, if people are working or whatever?

  • Registered Users Posts: 817 ✭✭✭dafunk

I vote for Thursday, I can't make Friday.

Friday is always preferable for that reason, unless you work on a Saturday which some seem to do, then it sucks. I could do Friday.

I have to collect ms. cornbb from the airport in the wee hours of Fri morning so beer is out of the question Thurs night. And I'll be wining and dining her on Fri night. So I won't make it :(

For anyone in the college, might be interested in going to this. Maybe boardsies would like to come also, i'm sure if you ask they'd have no problem.
