I pay 750 for a wonderful, albeit small, double bed flat in a georgian terracced house. It's 23sqm but it has all I need and the landlady is just the best.
15 walking distance to top of Grafton Street, on the Southside.

Rent in Sligo varies but best value are individual houses rented from landlords themselves. You could get a house 3 minutes walk from college 75 to 80 per person sharing all bills paid. No parking charges for your car like the student apt.s
