Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've just set up a new PC for a friend. As the title suggests, how do I go about transferring/importing the inbox on his old PC to his new one? Possibly something to do with the archives/archived files??

You need to check and see on the old pc if the e-mail is beening saved to an ost file or pst file. The pst file is what you need and this can be dropped on the new pc and the opened in outlook.

OST is only if you are connecting to an exchange server
do a search for *.PST in case auto archive has been hiding emails on you

it it's outlook express then there is a whole mess of dbx files ot copy

What version of Outlook are you using? In Outlook 2003 and 2007 they have a nice settings transfer feature that moves everything for you, settings, mail, etc. all in one go.
