XP Pro 64-bit

I'm thinking of purchasing this over the next few days. I got a new rig last November and the hardware is roughly 2k euros worth. I'm currently only running XP home on it. I have 4 gb RAM so I would like 64-bit so it can see all of it (as opposed to 3.25gb). Can I upgrade from xp 32 or will I need completely reformat my…

Am running the following games under Vista 64bit.
Medal of Honour:Airborne
Crysis
Neverwinter Nights 2
Silent Hunter 4
Call of Juarez
Call of Duty 4
Deus Ex
Unreal Tournament 3
Battlestations Midway
Test Drive: Unlimited

The only problem I found with games was those "trial" steam games such as HL2-HL2EP1/2 / CS / Dark Messiah etc.
I have the games but since I don't have broadband at home cannot activate them. Since steam needs to be updated to work in 64bit these games constantly crash and need to be activated as per normal.
UT2004 also doesn't like Vista 64bit.
