Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Was just standing outside some stairs when a trio of girls had a loud discussion on how people should use the gym, they then standing around bitching about how long the lift was taking and they wouldn't take the stairs as it would be too tiring.

Whoever said I meant people today as in they're dumb.

Maybe I was putting a title of People Today (as in People I met Today) and then put in a Canadian Eh? for good measure.

damn Canadians... even if it is fun to say...

On a more serious note, I agree totally, it astonishes me when I hear of people spending two to three hours a day in traffic, (pay for the car, insurance, petrol etc.) and then pay for gym membership so they can go sit on a bike machine for another hour... Wasting money and time...

I'll always remember the Bill Bryson quote where an acquitance of his whines about the lack of parking facilities for her gym, which is at most a six minute walk from her house. When he asks why doesnt she just walk and do sixx minutes less on the treadmill she basically says that "I have a programme for the treadmill, it records my distance and speed"

Or his next door neighbours who took the car to visit him for dinner.
