Passed Eglinton Road earlier and there were flocks of gardai, with an artic roped off with crime scene tape and a bicycle twisted underneath it.

It looked like a fatal accident, but there was nothing on the news. Anyone know what happened?

Dublin - Eglinton Rd has reopened to all traffic following an earlier collision

    Not very informative.

I passed this accident myself this afternoon. It looked horrific, the bike was right in under the artic and the guards seemed to be preserving the scene for the traffic corps accident unit.

Hopefully the fact that no fatalities have been reported yet is a good sign.

Sorry, Admiral - thanks, of course, for going to the trouble.

Yes, the fact that there's no word has to be good. It really looked nasty.
