    Not quite a sequel (as the licence isn't held by the same company) but Fallen Empires: Legion is supposed to act as a sequel...

    Read this interview earlier but what's the deal with it being "browser based"?

    I haven't heard of InstantAction before.
    What's the deal with them?

    I think it (browser based) is the new buzz-word for multiplayer games...Saw it in relation to the next Quake (Live) planned as well.

    Was on the site (instantaction.com) - it seems to be - games in a browser...hmm...

    T1 & T2 have been free to download for the last 3 years or so :o. To be honest it looks like vilvaldi universals attempt to rerealase (sp?) Tribes vengence (which was a disaster), but it looks too polished a bit like unreal imo and trying to keep in tune with that new release. They don't listen to the fans anymore :(

    P.s. There is still a Tribes community, even if there is only 100 or so of us left, always looking for new players ;)
    Legends was another mod originally developed by old skool T1 players when T2 was released.

    Goddamit why does nobody tell me important things like this?! Will be downloading it anyway and see - think I prefer 1 to 2...Any IRC channel to get games going or where is a good hangout?

    Some of peeps idle around on quakenet cant remember any channels #tribes maybe :o, we used to organise 14 vs 14 mixed team games. Theres feck all active euro servers anymore, but a few u.s. servers =Rebels= katabatic is where its at now, but they have version2 mod which speeds everything up alot, more then classic did. Still good fun though :D
