Are the bulbs for the Lexus Is 200 festoon type ones, or a special kind. i like the glow from them, are they LED based?

They are LED's alright, I got some white LED's for mine from Halfords and they look the exact same

The new IS200 is called the IS250 or IS220d over here.

Lexus also use LED's for the interior lighting on the IS too.

ive noticed that too, the reg plate bulbs have a kinda xenon look to them. they look well imo.
