Thanks galwaytt for restoring my faith in boards.. Now just ask a mod to change the thread title to reflect what it is!

1991 Integra XSI. I bought it from a friend after it had been broken into (and he was too lazy to get it fixed) as he was only asking €200. I was gonna fix it up and sell it on straight away.

    That Integra's well tidy mate.
Can't believe it only stood you €200, bargain of the century.

And is just had a new exhaust, battery and the tank was full!:D Tho in fairness it came with the original alloys which were in a bad way as well as a whole pile of work needed. Digital photos can deceiving.. it was well worn in spots.

What BMW was quicker than your Supra? Not that 1000bhp one over on the BMW thread?:D

Why does it have refrigeration units on the back of it? Could it be a meat lorry?:D

And why is there some guy trying to single handedly pull it up a hill?

V10 ... grrr... rattle, rattle, rattle,.... grrr...

You mean. It is a diesel after all:D

(OP, at idle would you know it was a diesel?)

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,906 ✭✭✭jayok

    Its a V10 - I want it to GRRR... :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,196 ✭✭✭MarkN

Wheels are very like the new S8 - or are they S8s? Sweet bus anyway.

At idle when cold, for sure, Im not kidding myself, sounds "diesely". When hot, it gets harder to tell. Plan to run it on BioDiesel which lubricates better probably get rid of it entirely.

Rev it even a little though and its quite clear its not your regular derv. Neck snapping torque and acceleration is a bit of a tell tale too :)

PS: Yeah, those are new model S8 wheels, well spotted.

Nope :( .. but its at the mechs as we speak , apparantly an easy fix - its just taking in too much air from somwhere.

That's the engine radiator, with a pair of Pacet fans.

They are OEM parts, straight off a 2wk old S8, £1500 from eBay auction including the tyres.

    Rim Size: 20"
    Tyres: 255-35

The VW v10 is worth nothing in UK, like Cayenne, 7 series etc.
You can easily get a good deal from them. Now VRT wise, I have no idea if you register back here.

Drove many happy miles in an NA. In fact before I drove it I replaced a load of resistors and capacitors to do with the ACIS in the ECU now that I think of it.
