Thanks, yeah there's a huge amount of work preparing for a showing class and she put in a lot of work before hand getting the pony to a point where she was ready for competing at the RDS. She placed 12th out of 16, she was delighted and thrilled to have ridden at the RDS. Just seeing her ride around the arena with a smile on her face was fantastic.

That's a brilliant achievement, and hopefully she'll be able to use the experience she gained for all the other things she's going to do in the future.

On a somewhat related topic, I was admiring the pics you took at Tinahely show, and was wondering if you can remember what class was going on in Ring 1 (the 'horse' ring) when you're daughter was competing in her class. I have a feeling we may have been showing in neighbouring rings at the same time.

Yeah, she was delighted with the result it was a very competitive class, supposedly the rider of the horse that place 1st had been flown in from the UK to ride the horse. I do think that all the dressage she does really stood to her. She has actually won the junior league in Eastern Region Dressage Ireland this year, so the RDS was the icing on the cake.

Your daughter did fantastic. I personally would have had her placed above the Palamino... she did one of the best individual shows. Pony just a touch on the small side to be in the ribbons.. She should aim for the workers next year ... as Jazz has a fab jump!

Bit blurry, but they were taken from a video of us jumping a couple of months back. It was her first course of fences after an 8 week break from work, so I was really pleased with her!

The first time she came to the fence she spooked at the filler and took a whopper jump, I got a bit left behind but she got right up over it



Second time around, we're a bit less spooky:



And off to the next fence!

Thanks Heydeldel - I'm really happy with her, she is coming on in leaps and bounds. Like a different horse to when I first got her 4 months ago.

She really enjoyed herself! Very strong but so fun
