Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Laptop not keeping battery charge

Have a laptop bout 2 and half years and was fine up til a few months ago. It's fine once I have it plugged in but once I unplug it the remaining battery power, no matter how high, drains in about 10 minutes. I could have it fully charged and it will be down to 5% within 10-15 minutes. Any ideas what's wrong and how I might fix this?

    Get a new battery.

They have a limited life span, normally around a year depending on use.

Unfortunately this battery is pretty much dead. 2 and a half years is a hell of a lot of recharge/discharge cycles which is what a li-ion battery is rated on.

Only thing to do is replace unfortunately.
