what would make a landlord choose between 2 prospective tenants?
Say they were both working, both had references from previous landlords?
Both can pay deposit and 1st month rent.
Is it gone to the stage where u have to treat is a job interview?
Is there professions a landlord would prefer?Would he prefer if the tenant didnt have a car, didnt want to get broadband or sky?
In what circumstances would a landlord prefer a couple over a single bloke or a single girl?
Any positive feed back from any landlords or posters would be appreciated?

Someone without small children, and a slightly older tenant who was less likely to have wild parties etc- might figure in the equation?

Stable ones - where they can continue to pay the rent.

I don't think it makes much of a difference, unless there is pressure on parking.
didnt want to get broadband or sky?
Not everyone wants or needs such services. Some people have plenty of internet at work or have a mobile phone or wireless connection.

Its possible that a couple are more stable financially that a single person.
