Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

All these African teams seem to be called after fearsome/impressive animals.
    Senegal - Teranga Lions
    Cameroon - Indominatable Lions
    Ivory Coast - The Elephants

With this in mind what animal should our boys be called after?
    The Capitulating Shrews?

Given the length of time it's taking to pick a new manager I'd suggest The Sloths.

We're like a non poisonous snake.

At first glance you think "Hmmmm maybe that's dangerous" but then on closer inspection you realise the complete lack of venom and laugh in its face, maybe give it a hiding while you're there too.

The Possums? Because we roll over and die when faced with a challenge.

The headless chickens? Because we dont seem to have a clue where we're going.

    The House Cats

Because we're not very exciting at all but no doubt have relatives in foreign countries who could rip teams to shreds.

Well whatever about the team, the FAI can be compared to Ostrich's cos they've been sticking their heads in the sand for years.

has to be one of these!!! :D

Des' one sounds like something John Delaney would say about a new manager.

Interviewer - So John the new manager appears to be a horse?

JD - No - an unstripey zebra i think you'll find. We're a little bit above horses around Merrion Square at this stage....

    Interviewer - Riiight

    FACT of the DAY:
In all the years studying ostriches, there has never been a single documented case of an ostrich sticking its head in the ground. FACT!

That sounds like an FAI press release.
