Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Creating shortcuts in the Taskbar: Problem

I want to drag program shortcut icons on my desktop to the Taskbar to create single-click startup icons.

    I have unlocked the Taskbar.

However, when I drag one of the icons onto the Taskbar, a circle with a line through it appears (i.e. you can't do this!) and when I release the icon, it just springs back to its position on my desktop.

    What am I doing wrong?

This is a new computer - just arrived. I had no problem doing this with my two other computers.

    Thanks.

    D.

Edited: Sorted! Taskbar was set to Google Taskbar instead of Quicklaunch. Must be a DELL thing.

    ps. Windows XP Pro
