Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Arsenal will be on top form i'd say...
Derby may go out to preston...
Chelsea will have a tough time at Wigan IMO, although grant may field a 1st team

Sheff Utd -v- MC will be a good game to watch

cant see too many shocks this weekend unless the same Spurs side that hammered Arsenal turn up then who knows

Villa vs Blackburn is on this weekend too as both teams are no longer in the cup

If Liverpool went out I would weep with pure joy. Sadly it will probably be 7-0 or something along those lines.

Utd vs Spurs can't possibly be dull.

In terms of upsets I can't see there being many although I could see Derby coming unstuck by a determined Preston side.

Spurs can be had @ 7-1 on betfair which is a very good price.

    Not saying we'll win, but I've a tenner on...:D

As far as i remember the away team gets 40% of the gate takings! Havant will get 43,000 / 40% at an average of 30quid a ticket is; 774,000 quid!!! I dont think they'll mind losing 7-0

It was a brilliant goal as well. Saw it earlier on Soccer AM. Will be tough to better that this weekend.

No, Skrtel gave away the corner, Finnan lost his man.

    H&W nearly scored again...

    from the BBC

1522: Pandamonium in the Liverpool box and Neil Sharp misses the chance of a lifetime to make it 2-0. I'm not making this up, Liverpool could have been TWO-NIL down to a bunch of part-timers.

1520: Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez looks shell-shocked on the touchline. No-one can quite believe what's happening - Havant & W fans are singing "We're going to Wembley." Their team used Man Utd's indoor training facilities to prepare for the game and will be the guests at their game against Tottenham on Sunday. If they keep this up they might be guests at Buckingham Palace in the near future.

I actually now believe there is magic in the fa cup

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,346 ✭✭✭✭homerjay2005

liverpool will have to bring on gerrard, torres and carragher to get them out of this.

doesnt say much for rafas confidence in his squad if he has to include these in the first place against a part time team.

ROFL ESPN half time analysis of Pool game, saying that Bill Shankley will be turning in his grave worst 45 minutes he has ever seen Liverpool play.

Then the other guy says that Liverpool were defending like Schoolboys, or is that insulting schoolboys.

Liverpools first goal was a class shot.

Just now heard about Liverpool. Altogether now...

    BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Does anyone actually give a rat's about the rest of the games today. Still pissing myself about Havant's first goal.

I think even if Liverpool win this 10-2 they're still never gonna live it down.

Yeah it will be like Scotland's 2-2 draw with the Faroe Islands. Hopefully the part-timers will do them though!

Got to love the guy's enthusiasm even if he is highly deluded regarding his best side to watch comment
